Real stories from women who’ve taken the ride of a lifetime

What Other Women Riders Say

I joined the ride after seeing a post asking if there were any “wild girls” out there—and I definitely felt like one. I was craving something new, a bit unknown… and getting to experience even a small part of Asia on a bike? Unreal. 🤍

I hadn’t ridden much before the trip, so the mountain twisties were a bit intimidating. For experienced riders, they’re a dream… for me, it was a challenge. But one I’m so glad I faced. I picked up new skills, grew more confident, and realized just how calm and respectful Thai drivers are.

What stuck with me most was the culture. People living simple, calm, and contented—it made me reflect a lot. The food was incredible, the traffic surprisingly manageable, and every day opened my eyes to a new way of living. I even made peace with the geckos! 😄

And I’m truly grateful for the open conversations and the no-judgment vibe. The trip was beautifully organized.

Baška is calm, quick-thinking, funny, and always a step ahead. I’d follow her anywhere. 😁

Just know: you don’t need much stuff—one backpack is enough. This trip isn’t about the gear. It’s about opening your heart to something unforgettable. It’s about reconnecting with your love for motorbikes… and discovering a brand-new one for Northern Thailand. 🌿

My first time on a scooter was born out of necessity — getting from point A to point B in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It’s just what you do.

Then I met Baška.

Confident, friendly, and deeply competent, she navigated the streets on a massive motorcycle with such effortless ease that I found myself drawn to her — not just following her route, but also her sense of calm and self-assurance.

Three months after getting my motorcycle license, I booked a four-day trip with her to tour northern Thailand.

What began as a nervous scooter rider cautiously weaving through traffic became a journey of a lifetime. We cruised along scenic mountain roads, embraced the lush jungle, slept in a new town each night, and sipped coffee on mountaintops that felt like the edge of the world. We experienced the country the way locals do — raw, real, and full of wonder. And somewhere along the way, I discovered a kind of meditation that only exists on two wheels.

I returned stronger. More grounded. The years of stress faded into the background. I realized that if I could venture into the unknown with nothing but a motorbike and an open mind, I could do anything. That trip didn’t just spark a love for riding — it unlocked a new part of me.

But it wasn’t just the ride. It was Baška.

Her kindness set the tone for everything. All I had to do was show up and enjoy the ride. She took care of the rest — finding the perfect coffee spots, making sure we were well-fed, taking me shopping to ensure I had the right gear, and offering thoughtful, practical advice on riding safely. She genuinely cared about the experience — and it showed.

Now I’m hooked. Bigger bikes, more adventures, and a deeper commitment to caring for my soul — all because of her.

Whatever you do in life, make sure one of those things is riding a motorcycle. With good friends. And Baška leading the way.

I was looking for an adventure and wanted to experience riding a motorcycle outside of Europe. It felt great knowing that someone who already knows Thailand would be leading us and had everything organized.

When I arrived, everything felt smooth. I really appreciated that Baška came to meet us at the airport, arranged the taxi, and explained everything.

Riding in Thailand was more challenging than what I was used to – constant curves, hills, and a very different rhythm compared to Europe. The scenery along the way was absolutely breathtaking. Of course, there were moments of doubt, especially when I was pushed wide in some tight corners. You really have to think about your speed, because you can’t always see what’s coming after one curve… or the next five. But Thai drivers were mostly respectful and careful around motorcycles.

One thing that truly surprised me was the respect for personal belongings – I left my whole pouch with phones and money unattended, and it stayed untouched. I didn’t expect that.

If you’re thinking about doing this trip, go for it. If you’re not confident with curves yet, I’d recommend a quick training at home first. The most important thing is to know your limits – and if you do, you’ll absolutely love it.

I booked Guiding Starter Day and it turned out to be a fantastic trip. Baška put together a self-guided tour based on my wishes for daily riding distances and the things I wanted to see along the way.

She was also very helpful in finding a suitable motorcycle for me. I am not very tall, so I needed something a bit lower to the ground. Since I was going to ride the tour alone and had never ridden in Thailand before, she rode with me on the first day.

This was to show me how to safely rent my bike, and what to watch out for on the road to ride as safely as possible. It turned out to be a very educational and enjoyable day.

The following days I rode alone, using her maps and tips along the way. She also shared many useful tips before I arrived in Thailand about what I should bring for riding there. Definitely worth accepting her help.
