1) Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms apply to the use of the Borderless Female Bikers website, its content, our community channels and our introduction services. Borderless Female Bikers is run by Barbora Bošková, a sole trader based in Slovakia (contact details in section 21).

Any terms or conditions of users do not apply unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

2) Our role

Borderless Female Bikers is a community that connects women riders with trusted local experts. We share travel information, ride ideas and community meetups, and we introduce interested riders to an independent travel supplier that handles bookings and on-the-ground delivery in Thailand.

Borderless Female Bikers is not a tour operator or travel agent. No travel contract is concluded with Borderless Female Bikers or through this website. The supplier designs each trip, sets inclusions and prices, confirms bookings and provides guiding through its own licensed staff.

3) Contracting, prices and payments

Our trips in Thailand are organised and operated by Chiang Mai 2 Go Travel, a licensed Thai tour operator (TAT Licence No.: 21/01251) — referred to in these terms as “the supplier”.

Your contract and any payments for travel services are exclusively with the supplier (the supplier is the Organizer & Merchant of Record).

Borderless Female Bikers is not a party to your booking contract and does not process payments for those travel services.

Trip descriptions, inclusions and prices shown on this website are based on information provided by the supplier. They are for information and orientation only and do not constitute a binding offer. The supplier is solely responsible for the accuracy, availability and final price of its travel services, as well as for its payment and cancellation terms.

If Borderless Female Bikers offers any separate community, coordination or coaching services, these are contracted and invoiced separately under our own terms.

Any outlines or sample itineraries on our channels are descriptive; the binding details are in the supplier's written confirmation.

4) Deposits, balance and cancellations

The following summarises the supplier's policy at the time of writing. The binding version is always the one in the supplier's written confirmation.

Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the trip price is required to reserve your place, payable once your booking is confirmed.

Balance: Full payment is due 6 months before the trip begins. If you're booking within 6 months of the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Refunds:

180+ days before the trip — 100% refund
90–179 days before the trip — 80% refund
60–89 days before the trip — 50% refund
Less than 60 days before the trip — Non-refundable

Why is this policy a bit strict? Our local partners run small, carefully curated groups, which means every spot, motorcycle and accommodation is booked well in advance. During Thailand's peak season (November–January), they require full upfront commitments to secure quality stays and logistics.

Cancellations, changes and refunds of the trip price are handled exclusively by the supplier. You are welcome to contact us and we will help pass on your request, but Borderless Female Bikers does not decide on or pay out refunds for travel services.

5) Minimum group size and flights

Trips may require a minimum number of participants. If the supplier cancels because minimum numbers are not met, the supplier will offer alternative dates.

If the minimum is not met, the trip may be cancelled or alternatives (new dates or similar experiences) may be offered under the supplier's policy. In case of cancellation, the full deposit is paid back.

The decision to run or cancel a trip is made solely by the supplier. We may keep you informed about the current status, but only the supplier's information and decision are binding.

Flights: Do not purchase flights until the trip is confirmed as going ahead. Confirmation usually happens around 4 months before the tour starts. We are not responsible for flight costs purchased before confirmation.

6) On-trip services

Guiding, transport, accommodation and all other on-trip tourism services are provided by the supplier and its licensed Thai guides. Borderless Female Bikers does not provide guiding or any other tourism services during the trip and is not responsible for the supplier's performance.

7) Rider responsibilities and safety

• You must hold the license required by Thai law for the motorcycle you ride and carry an International Driving Permit where recommended.
• Ride at your own risk. Motorcycling involves inherent risks. Wear protective gear and follow local laws and conditions.
• Participation in trips, excursions and other activities is entirely at your own risk. Before riding, make sure the motorcycle, your protective gear and any other equipment are in suitable condition, and tell the supplier straight away if they are not.
• You are responsible for being physically fit and healthy enough to take part, and for riding within your own skills and limits.
• Any information we share about risks, roads or conditions does not replace your own judgement and care.

8) Insurance

Please ensure your personal travel insurance covers motorcycle riding abroad; note that most policies do not cover rental vehicle damage — check your cover carefully.

We strongly recommend appropriate travel health, accident and trip cancellation insurance for the full length of your stay.

Rental motorcycles are not insured for collision/damage by the Thai supplier and cannot be extended with local add-on insurance. If a motorcycle is damaged or lost, the rider responsible must pay the repair or replacement costs as per the supplier's workshop rates and policies.

9) Travel documents and visas

You are responsible for all requirements needed for the trip, including a valid passport, visa and entry requirements, vaccinations and health requirements, customs and safety rules, and the licences needed to ride. Any information we share is general and not a guarantee of entry.

Borderless Female Bikers is not liable if you cannot take part in a trip, fully or partly, because any of these requirements were missing, incorrect or not met in time.

10) Supplier terms control

Your trip is governed by the supplier's terms and policies, including deposits, cancellations, refunds, rental conditions, and any damage excess. Review and accept those terms before paying the supplier.

11) Itinerary flexibility, weather and delays

Routes, accommodation, schedules, or bike models may change for safety, weather, road closures, or operational reasons. The supplier decides such changes. Borderless Female Bikers is not liable for disruptions or costs caused by such changes.

Weather: Trips proceed in all weather unless safety is at risk. The supplier may adjust routes or timing accordingly.

12) Code of conduct

For safety and respect of others, the supplier may refuse or remove a participant for dangerous, unlawful, or disruptive behaviour, without refund beyond what its policy allows.

13) Content and recommendations

All content on this website and our channels is based on personal experience, subjective assessments and opinions. It is shared for inspiration and general information.

Our content does not constitute legal, medical, safety-related or other professional advice. While we take care to keep it useful, we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date.

Travel decisions, bookings and participation in trips or activities are made entirely at your own risk and responsibility.

14) External links

Our website contains links to external websites. We have no influence over their content, and responsibility for linked content always lies with the respective provider. No legal violations were apparent at the time of linking; if we become aware of one, we will remove the link.

15) Photos & media

Photos and videos may be captured during rides and community activities. By participating you grant Borderless Female Bikers a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use selected media for marketing or promotional purposes, unless you clearly request otherwise in advance and at the start of the activity. We will take reasonable steps to respect opt-out requests.

16) Complaints and claims

If you encounter an issue during a trip, notify the supplier immediately so it can attempt to resolve it on the spot. We will provide contact details and reasonable assistance.

As Borderless Female Bikers is not a tour operator or travel agent and does not conclude travel contracts, any claims relating to booked trips or travel services must be made directly with the supplier. We are not authorised to accept or acknowledge claims on the supplier's behalf.

17) Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Borderless Female Bikers is not liable for acts, errors, or omissions of the supplier or other third parties. Our liability for our own services is limited to the amount you have paid us directly, if any. This does not affect your statutory rights.

In particular, we are not liable for service disruptions, personal injury or damage to property in connection with trips, riding or other activities provided by third parties. This does not apply where damage is caused intentionally or through gross negligence on our part, or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

18) Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, government action, or similar events.

19) Data & privacy (EU transfer)

We collect only the minimum necessary personal data to connect you with the supplier (e.g., contact details; passport/driver's licence details for booking; optional medical info for safety if you choose to provide it).

Because we are EU-based and the supplier is in Thailand, data sharing is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

Retention: booking/contact data up to 3 years; passport/driver's licence up to 90 days after the trip; medical info up to 30 days after the trip, then secure deletion.

20) Accommodation policies

Hotels and lodges may require identification and a card or deposit at check-in. These policies are set by the property and may vary by location.
