Namibia on a KTM 500 — the Skeleton Coast, the red plains of Damaraland, the seal colony at Cape Cross, the ancient mass of Brandberg, and the granite spires of Spitzkoppe. This is a small, women-only group riding some of the most dramatic landscapes in Africa, starting and finishing in Walvis Bay.

Off-Road Through Namibia's Wildest Landscapes
Namibia is a different kind of riding altogether — vast, empty, and beautiful in a way that's hard to describe until you're standing in it. On KTM 500s, we'll cross gravel, sand and corrugated dirt roads through some of the most striking scenery in Africa: the eerie Skeleton Coast, the seal colony at Cape Cross, the towering mass of Brandberg, and the otherworldly granite spires of Spitzkoppe, before ending among the dunes and dry riverbeds near Omaruru.
The trip starts and finishes in Walvis Bay. One night is spent camping under the stars — the rest in lodges and camps along the route.
What To Expect
Mental Strength
Namibia's roads are remote and demanding. This trip asks for resilience and a positive mindset as much as riding skill.
Pack Light
Space on the support vehicle is limited, so pack efficiently and bring gear suited to heat, dust and cold desert nights.
Safety
An English-speaking guide, a German-speaking female co-guide, and a support vehicle accompany the group throughout the tour.
Africa
Come with an open mind. Namibia rewards riders who embrace the unpredictable and soak in a landscape unlike anywhere else.

Itinerary
Arrival & Welcome
Pickup from Walvis Bay Airport and transfer to our starting point. Evening free to settle in and meet the group (dinner not included).
Getting Comfortable & Ride to Cape Cross
Around 170 km on tarmac, salt roads, gravel and sand, via Swakopmund and the Zeila shipwreck, to Henties Bay and on to Cape Cross Lodge — home to one of the largest seal colonies on the continent.

On to Brandberg
Around 200 km of tarmac, graded gravel and corrugated gravel roads, ending at White Lady Lodge beneath Namibia's highest mountain.

Omaruru Game Reserve
Around 180 km on gravel and dirt roads, arriving in time for an afternoon safari drive through the reserve.

Through the Erongo Mountains to Spitzkoppe
Around 100 km on gravel and dirt roads through the Erongo Mountains, including a visit to a local Bushman/San village. We camp under the stars at the foot of Spitzkoppe's granite spires.

Moon Valley & Goanikontes
A shorter day of around 50 km on dirt and gravel through the lunar landscape of Moon Valley, ending at a luxury camp for a farewell dinner together.
