If you’re planning to travel to Thailand and dream of discovering it on a motorcycle or scooter but you’re not sure where to start, how the traffic works, or what’s actually safe – this is for you!
A motorbike day in Northern Thailand with me isn’t just about riding – it’s a full day of mentoring, guidance, and local insight designed to make you feel capable, calm, and excited to explore on your own.
Together, we’ll spend a full day riding together: practical, empowering, and at your own pace.
You’ll learn how to handle local roads, understand the “Thai logic” in traffic, and gain the confidence to ride solo – without stress or fear.
This day is about discovering how capable you already are.
That quiet moment when you stop at a viewpoint, take off your helmet, and realize – I’m really doing this.
It’s not about being the fastest or the bravest – it’s about the confidence that grows with every turn of the road.
And if you’re coming with a friend or partner – perfect.
You can join as a pair or a small group, and we’ll tailor the day for everyone’s experience level and adjust the pricing.
Maybe you’re thinking:
🔹 “I want to ride in Thailand, but I have no idea where to even start.”
🔹 “Maybe I’m not experienced enough for Asia. Everything looks so different.”
🔹 “I’ve seen how crazy Asian traffic looks – honestly, it scares me a little.”
🔹 “I just wish there was someone local, who gets me and could help me get started safely.”
If you nodded at least once, you’re exactly where you should be.

💬 Words from a Ride Ready Day participant
“What began as a nervous scooter rider cautiously weaving through traffic became a journey of a lifetime. We experienced the country the way locals do – raw, real, and full of wonder. And somewhere along the way, I discovered a kind of meditation that only exists on two wheels. Her kindness set the tone for everything. All I had to do was show up and enjoy the ride. She took care of the rest – finding the perfect coffee spots, taking me shopping to ensure I had the right gear, and offering thoughtful, practical advice on riding safely. She genuinely cared about the experience – and it showed.” Sasha
Common thoughts
| What you might think | My answer |
|---|---|
| “That’s quite a lot for just one day.” | In just one day, you go from guessing and stressing to knowing exactly what you’re doing. You get my local know-how, my routes, and all the “what not to do” experience that took me years to collect. You’re not just paying for a day – you’re buying peace of mind and confidence that lasts for the rest of your trip. |
| “I prefer figuring stuff out myself.” | Same here – until I realized how much time, energy, and nerves it saves to have someone who knows the terrain. Think of it like having a local friend who makes sure your first ride is smooth, not stressful. Instead of starting your ride stressed and second-guessing, you’ll have someone guiding you through it calmly and clearly. I’ll show you the shortcuts, explain how traffic actually works here, and make sure you’re ready to go solo the very next day. |
| “I’m not that experienced enough.” | That’s what this day is for. You’ll leave knowing you can do it — and that Thailand’s roads aren’t scary once you understand their rhythm. You’ll be surprised how capable you already are |

Itinerary
We’ll meet in the morning at one of my trusted rental shops. I’ll help you choose your motorbike, check the basics together, and make sure you’re fully comfortable before we hit the road.
We’ll grab breakfast and talk through the plan for the day - safety, local riding style, what to expect on Thai roads, and a few key tips from my Riding Thailand e-book. You’ll have time to ask anything that’s on your mind before we start the ride.
Once we’re ready, we’ll head out toward the mountains. You’ll start to feel the rhythm of the road - city traffic trasforming into mountain curves, and that first taste of freedom.
We’ll stop at one of the temples. It’s a perfect quiet moment to stretch, breathe, and take in a bit of culture along the way.
Time for coffee - at a beautiful little café. It’s one of my hidden gems on the loop. We’ll relax, chat about how the ride feels so far, and go through anything you’d like to improve or ask.
Back on the road for another stretch through the Samoeng mountain loop. This part is usually everyone’s favorite - curvy roads, jungle views, and that confident smile behind the helmet.
We’ll stop for a cozy lunch at one of my favorite restaurants. It’s the perfect time to relax, share stories from the morning ride, and talk about your travel plans and itineraries for the next days.
After lunch, we’ll keep cruising through the last stretch of the Samoeng loop back to Chiang Mai. You’ll head back knowing exactly how to continue your journey - safely, confidently, and in your own rhythm.
